| Donations of food, water and clothing from the NIST community were delivered to villages in the worst-hit areas of Uttaradit last week. Several thousand villagers are still without houses, and are living in make-shift tents. Several roads and bridges were also destroyed, making it hard for villagers to earn a living. The NIST donations were warmly received, especially by children who were delighted to have new shoes and clothing. |
