| On Friday, December 19, 2008, NISTAA held the NISTannual reunion which commemorated the Class of 1998 Ten Year Reunion and All Class Reunion. The reunion was held at our very own NIST oval. On behalf of NIST and NISTAA, K.Poonam Sachdev had the honor to welcome our alumni and thank them for their continued support. Mr Gavin Machell, a former NIST Head of Science, was our guest speaker of the night. He did a fantastic job taking us back to reflect on our high school memories and make us realize how much NIST has shaped us to become who we are today. Jarutat Snidwongse Na Ayutthaya, a member of NIST Class of 1998 and class speaker of the night, showed us an example of the great product of NIST’s well rounded education. His current work with the Royal Foundation Project fully emphasized our school mission statement : “To inspire and empower each student, to pursue individual excellence and to enrich the world” The evening continued with more cocktails, mingling and of course, great memories for all of us to take home |
