Economics through the Eyes of Dr. Michael A. Sadler

On Thursday 2 December, 2010, Dr. Michael A. Sadler, a senior lecturer at University of Texas at Austin and a Principal at Finance Scholars Group, who was in Bangkok as a visiting professor at the Department of Economics, Thammasart University, gave NIST students an insightful talk on economic uncertainty and how to prepare for an uncertain world.

Dr. Sadler simplified complex economic concepts and shared some useful life advice with NIST Year 12 and Year 13 students. He encouraged NIST students to protect themselves by getting educated, being flexible and creative. He strongly emphasized that students should follow their passion in pursuing their future careers.
