Falcons ‘Soar’ at Friendship Soccer and Volleyball Tournaments on 2-3 September 2011.

NIST participated over the weekend in a variety of early season friendly sport competition.  The Falcon soccer and Volleyball players represented NIST around Bangkok at the Friendship varsity and junior varsity tournaments where games were played against other international schools as well as Thai schools/Sports Academies.

NIST hosted the varsity soccer tournaments in the first ever nighttime tournament which was held on NIST’s new all-weather playing field. The event was very well supported by the community and the crowd was entertained by the high quality soccer play by the teams. This has been a very positive start of the season for the teams and NIST looks forward to a season of sports excellence.
