NIST Falcons participate in Twin Tours Tournament.

Over the weekend of 16 to 19 September the Falcon Varsity Volleyball players traveled to Kuala Lumpur to participate in the Twin Tower Tournament. This trip was a key part of the teams’ preparation for BISAC and SEASAC and overall performance was good. Both the boys and girls teams ended the tournament with a three win and a three loss record. Notably there were wins over ISKL (International School of KL), ISB (International School of Bangkok) and JIS (Jakarta International School). Our athletes proved to be strong competitors and the overall trip was a great success.

In addition to the expected benefits in volleyball performance and team bonding, the teams also stayed with host families in Kuala Lumpur thus benefiting from the additional level of social interaction and immersion into the community. We had a wonderful trip and even toured the Twin Towers on Sunday afternoon.
