NIPTA Teacher Appreciation

On Friday 27 May, the NIST community showed their appreciation of the Elementary and Secondary Teachers and Staff as well as acknowledged the departure of Mr. Paul Hamlyn, Ms. Nicole Schmidt and Ms. Cynthia Wissman.

With the support of the NIST Parent and Teacher Association (NIPTA), parents of all year levels worked together to prepare a fantastic lunch with everything from lasagne, African curry, chicken and sticky rice to beautifully decorated cakes and a variety of other treats. The fact that everyone pitched in to provide food, set-up, organise food and drink, MC and then to re-organise food and clean up-says it all! This event demonstrated the appreciation the entire parent community has for the dedication of its teachers and administration toward their children.
