NIST 16 year old high school students received top marks at Stanford University

Two NIST Students, Pichamol (Earth) Sirijuntanan and Ritah Chumdermpadetsuk attended the prestigious Stanford University to participate in a summer program which allows exceptional high school students to take Stanford undergraduate courses and achieve college credits. The credits which are earned can then be transferred to other universities upon graduation from NIST.

According to both students “spending eight weeks in this summer program has been a truly enriching experience which has expanded our horizons greatly.”

Most notably, both students received outstanding results where Earth received an A in Cognitive Psychology and Ritah received an A in both Human Physiology and International Relations.
