A Snapshot of NIST's History ...Message from the United Nations, August, 1992"The United Nations family of agencies in Thailand have committed their full support to the New International School of Thailand. It is an exciting new venture in international education of the highest quality. This is a truly international school - as distinct from a national expatriate school. What is taught, and the way in which it is taught, is designed to reflect the fundamental values of our global society. Through being United Nations related, the school is better able to project and maintain a consistent, uniform international perspective in all its teaching and activities."
