(Original NIST Music Department Production) On Monday 17 October and Tuesday 18 October, an impressive group of Elementary Students put on a wonderful musical production for a full house of parents, students and staff. The play was certainly a comedy, best evidenced by the audience’s roaring laughter but the undertone was quite serious. The students challenged the audience through drama, song, dance and a wonderfully written script, to consider the impact we are having on our environment, a message with notable significance. From the bags of sticky rice distributed mid-song, to the incredible real Tuk Tuk, original songs, talented actors and singers and to the thought-provoking content, it is no wonder both nights sold out quickly.
