Founded in 1992 with the support of the United Nations, NIST International School is Thailand’s first full, not-for-profit IB World School. Located in the heart of Bangkok, NIST welcomes over 1,800 students from Early Years to Year 13, representing more than 77 nationalities, making it Thailand’s most diverse international school community.
NIST’s carefully curated Learning Programme combines academic rigour with wellbeing, service, expeditions and activities, providing a holistic education that develops confident, compassionate and capable global citizens. Students are supported by a diverse faculty representing 26 nationalities, enriching learning through global perspectives.

GLOBAL CITIZEN DIPLOMA (GCD)
NIST is a member of a nine-school consortium offering the Global Citizen Diploma (GCD). The GCD provides students with a credential that highlights the qualities of global citizenship, as well as the opportunity to reflect on and describe their whole education qualitatively through reflection on their learning experiences

Our Campus
Nestled in the heart of one of Bangkok’s busiest business districts, the NIST International School campus is located on Sukhumvit Soi 15, minutes from Asok BTS skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT subway stations. Our 25-rai campus encompasses ten buildings that house over 90 classrooms and state-of-the-art facilities.
