Our mission is to keep the NIST cats happy, healthy and safe through a trap, neuter and release program for both cats on campus and in the soi 15 area. We also aim to educate the community about stray cat issues and the cats on campus.

E Co. aims to take action towards waste reduction with creative upcycled alternatives in the NIST and greater community through partnership, and with the vision of a minimal/zero waste community towards sustainability.

Mixed Up!

Mixed Up! aims to advocate for wildlife conservation and works closely with Love Wildlife Foundation in supporting their work on slow loris rehabilitation and protection. We host annual inter-school concerts as. a collaborative local effort towards the cause.

We aim to advocate for wildlife conervation and protection, and work closely with FREELAND Foundation in their work with local communities in Khao Yai towards empowerment and learning.

Service Learning at NIST-NIST Bricks

NIST Bricks

We aim to upcycle plastic waste in our community, and turn them into Eco Bricks. These Eco Bricks then could be transformed into beautiful upcycled furnitures, flower beddings, and many more beautiful products.

Ocean Marine Guardian (OMG)

OMG aims to engage school community in conservation projects to advocate for and to protect the ocean and coastal environment. Some of our projects include reef/beach clean ups, mangrove planting and more.

Plastic Free NIST

Plastic Free NIST works to reduce unsustainable consumption of single use plastic at NIST and in the Bangkok community through working with external partners in order to provide innovative solutions and foster awareness.

WOOF

Welfare Of Our Friends (WOOF) aims to advocate for pet welfare. We work alongside the Soi Dog Foundation and Pic-A-Pet 4 home to support the livelihood of homeless, neglected and abused dogs in Thailand.
