It was with great pleasure that NIST International School welcomed the Boonvisuit family back to campus on Monday, 2 June. As long-standing supporters and the proud parents of two NIST graduates – Peem (Class of 2019) and Peak (Class of 2021) – the Boonvisuit family’s enduring connection and philanthropic spirit have played an important role in shaping the NIST community for many years.
During their visit, the Boonvisuit family met with Head of School James Dalziel, Poonam Sachdev (School Director), Yvonne Trisynthia (Director of Engagement), and Mini Nandini Pavaphipat (Advancement Manager), who extended a warm welcome and guided them on a tour of the campus. The family expressed their joy in returning to NIST, remarking, "It was great to be back at NIST... It was always amazing for us to see the Boonvisuit Food Design Centre once again." This facility, made possible through their generous support, continues to be a valuable space for student learning and creativity.
A particularly heartfelt moment came when Peem, Class of 2019 and now a graduate of Imperial College London, reflected on his time at NIST. He shared how proud he is to be a NIST alum, stating that the best decision his parents ever made was choosing NIST for him and his younger brother. His words serve as a powerful reminder of the deep and lasting connection our alumni carry with them. Peak (Class of 2021), who is currently completing his studies at LSE, also shares the same pride in being part of the NIST family.
As NIST continues to evolve, the Boonvisuit family's legacy will be permanently recognised on our new Donor Wall – a reflection of the school’s ongoing commitment to honouring those who have contributed so significantly to its growth. "We were also honoured that our names will be in the new Donor Wall and proud that NIST always remembers and honours us no matter where we are," they shared.
NIST is deeply grateful for the Boonvisuit family’s generosity and lasting impact. Through both their philanthropic contributions and the accomplishments of Peem and Peak, they continue to inspire and strengthen our community. We extend our heartfelt thanks for their recent visit, their ongoing support, and for remaining valued members of the NIST family.
