Our Chelsea IDC staff are extremely busy throughout November delivering to over 400 children as part of our CSR programme. This will giver children from multiple backgrounds across Bangkok the opportunity to work with our coaches as well as there own coaches and school teachers to receive coach education from our staff. We are revisiting 4 schools which we have delivered CSR with before as well as visiting 4 new schools. This gives us the opportunity to continue to help grow the and develop the wider footballing community across Bangkok.
One of Centres we have revisited is the Mercy Centre which is an organisation that aims to help the communities and children in Bangkok by providing appropriate education, family welfare and support, combating AIDS and responding to daily emergencies for those in need.
Foundation coaches visited the centre to provide the children with a positive and active experience of football, with 30-minute fun-filled skill sessions before participating in school assemblies in which they gave all the children and staff Chelsea giveaways.
The Mercy Centre has been heavily involved in the International Development Centre project in Bangkok in various ways, including their teams participating in our tournaments and their coaches undertaking various coach education workshops that the Foundation ran throughout the year.
