Giving to Our Community
Philanthropy
NIST is a not-for-profit school and owes its existence to numerous pioneering, committed, and visionary people and organisations who were determined to create a new international school in the heart of Bangkok. Our success can be attributed to the time and talent of many members of the community—a school established on philanthropy in the broadest sense.
Giving to NIST is a tangible expression of commitment to the school’s values and as a way of ensuring the continuity of our outstanding programs.
As a school we appreciate your past contributions and would like to share with you how your gifts have allowed NIST to continue to invest in our community, programs and facilities.
Our vision for the future: why we need to raise funds
To help our students thrive in today's global world, they need flexible and sustainable spaces that inspire and empower them. Our current campus redevelopment is a unique opportunity to transform our campus, creating buildings and spaces that enhance learning, collaboration, and connections for everyone.
To achieve this vision, we seek to continue our partnership with the NIST community, founded by innovative and philanthropic individuals. With your support, we will enhance learning opportunities for all students, engage with local and global communities, and create spaces and programs that positively impact the world.
We promise excellence, and with your help, we will continue to deliver on this promise. By giving to NIST, you can make a transformational difference in the lives of current and future students, and gain tax advantages for you and your family.
Help us create a world-class international learning center within a caring and supportive community. Join us and experience the joy of giving.
The Future of Giving at NIST
We know that in order to develop our progressive innovative learning programmes we need to provide our students with the optimal learning environment. The transformation of the NIST campus has already begun. There are three distinct phases of our master plan which together will elevate our campus.
With the expansion of our Masterplan, we invite you to explore our new naming rights opportunities–this is a unique chance to make a lasting impact at NIST. If you are interested, please contact Mini (Nandini) Pavaphiphat directly at nandinip@nist.ac.th or at advancement@nist.ac.th so we can discuss how you can be a part of NIST's giving legacy.
Fundraising Campaigns
NIST is a Private School operating under the Private Schools Act in Thailand, donors are entitled to a tax deduction of up to 200%. If you would like to get more information on this, please contact us at advancement@nist.ac.th or Ms. Mini (Nandini) Pavaphiphat at nandinip@nist.ac.th.
As a not-for-profit foundation school, NIST depends entirely upon tuition income to cover staffing, and curriculum and professional development costs. We are guided by the parent-elected NIST International School Foundation, ensuring that we remain responsible and principled in our stewardship. Community is thus one of our core values, and we rely on the compassion and goodwill of donors to strive for excellence in every area.
Funds raised in the NIST Giving Programme allow us to complete projects outside our budget. With the support of others who share our vision of a better world through education, we ensure that we can further develop an exceptional learning environment that fosters future leaders and inquirers who strive to make a positive difference in their communities.
“Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.”
