NIST works with Montri Transportation Corporation to provide daily transportation for families who choose to use their services. The school also runs its own shuttle buses for members of the NIST community to and from the Asok BTS Station and the entrance to Sukhumvit 15 throughout the day.
Transportation for Elementary School Students
Early years and year 1 children are collected from the teachers or teacher assistants at the meeting point by the bus monitors. Each monitor has a list of children assigned to his or her bus. The monitor supervises boarding and securing of seatbelts. These vehicles depart promptly from the main parking lot at 2:20 PM. In Years 2 to 6, students are expected to proceed promptly to their buses at 3:00 PM. (Note that secondary buses leave at 3:35 PM.) To ensure the safety of all passengers, each bus monitor has a list of authorized students, which is checked daily.
After-school Buses
Many students remain at the NIST after their classes to participate in after-school activities and Falcons sports. We ensure transportation for every student so that everyone can participate in activities if they so choose. Monitors have a list of students authorized to remain late, and the list is checked prior to departure to make sure that no students are left at the school. The buses leave at 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM, and the latest bus is at 5:45 PM.
Shuttle Bus Service
NIST provides a daily shuttle bus service from Monday to Friday for members of the community, providing transport from Robinson Department Store at Asoke BTS and the Manhattan Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 15 to NIST, and vice versa. The shuttles to Asoke BTS run between 6:30 to 9:00 AM and 2:00 to 6:30 PM (or 7:30 PM by request), and the shuttles to Manhattan Hotel run throughout the day in regular intervals, parents can contact the school to ask for the shuttle to pick up at the Manhattan Hotel.
