Activities Finance Officer
Job Summary
The Activities Finance Officer supports the accurate and efficient financial management of NIST’s Activities programme, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking across sports, clubs, events, and trips.
Working closely with the Director, the role contributes to day-to-day financial operations with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and service. Responsibilities

Audio Visual & Theatrical Technician
Job Summary:
This position provides primary technical support for Theatre lessons while serving as a core member of the centralized event technology and Audio Visual ( Team The role ensures the professional execution of theatrical performances and classroom activities, while delivering high quality audio visual support for school wide events, ranging from academic presentations to community and sports gatherings
Responsibilities
Technical Setup & Operation
- Organize, set up, configure, and operate all technical systems (lighting, projection, and audio) for academic assessments, theatre productions, and school wide activities across all venues.
- Act as lighting designer, lighting operator, audio operator or technical support depending on the scale and requirements of the event.
- Conduct thorough sound and lighting checks and troubleshooting primary/backup systems to ensure professional level execution.
- Take a lead technical role in theatre productions and after school rehearsals, including planning, setup, operation, and strike.
- Collaborate closely with the requester to realise the artistic and technical vision of each production.
- Respond promptly to technical assistance requests across all departments in a timely and organised manner and offer hands on equipment support to performers during live events
Training & Mentorship
- Student Mentorship: Provide comprehensive training to students in technical roles (lighting, sound, backstage operations) to prepare them to confidently support their own events.
- Staff Training: Work closely with AV team members to support technical lessons, and provide basic equipment operation training to relevant staff to improve campus self sufficiency.
Event Coordination & Teamwork
- Logistical Planning: Collaborate with the Event Tech Team Leader and utilize digital booking systems to plan technical aspects, setup timelines, and external support needs for upcoming events.
- Cross Team Coordination: Coordinate AV setup, takedown, and safe transport with the Event Setup & Housekeeping Team to align with booking schedules.
- Flexible Collaboration: Maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere within the team, remaining flexible to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as the event schedule dictates.
Equipment Maintenance & Strategy
- Inventory: Manage a detailed and accurate inventory of lighting and audio gear.

- Technical Advising: Advise on technical requirements, upgrades, and solutions for new installations to ensure the continuous improvement of the school's AV capabilities.

Qualifications:
- Theatre experience in lighting or as a theatre technician
- A Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre, Performing Arts, Production, Theatre or a related field (desirable).\
- Have at least two years of working experience, especially with visual/light/sound systems or audio visual aids
- Have a good level of working knowledge and experience of lighting a live theatre performance.
- Theatre experience in lighting, stage management or as a theatre technician.

FM Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary
FM Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all maintenance operations within the school campus tensure facilities, utilities, and building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards. The role includes preventive maintenance planning, contractor management, project supervision, budgeting support, and team leadership tmaintain a high-quality learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance operations for all school facilities and infrastructure.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for:

Indian Cuisine Chef
Job Summary
Work collaboratively with the Head of Catering to design and implement diverse, nutritious, and culturally inclusive menus with a focus on Indian cuisine. Lead the preparation and production of high-volume meals in a school cafeteria environment while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities
Menu Planning & Development
- Contribute authentic Indian dishes across various regional styles (North Indian, South Indian, etc.) suitable for children and staff.
- Adapt traditional recipes for health-conscious diets (low-fat, low-sodium, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.).
- Collaborate with nutritionists to ensure balanced, allergy-safe, and kid-friendly options.
Food Production & Cooking
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian meals (curries, dals, rice dishes, flatbreads, snacks, desserts) from scratch, using bulk production methods suitable for large school settings.
- Oversee mise en place, batch cooking, and efficient station setup to ensure consistent quality and timely meal service.
- Innovate recipes using seasonal and locally available ingredients.
Kitchen Management & Teamwork

Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, ensuring that air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems function efficiently across the school campus. This role provides leadership to the technicians, assigns tasks, monitors work quality, and ensures compliance with safety regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Engineer to implement preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and manage emergency maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities

- Ensure maintenance requests and work orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

NIST MUSIC ACADEMY ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and administer all operational aspects of the NIST Music Academy's programming and activities. This includes managing the instrumental music lesson schedule, maintaining accurate student records and attendance via the Veracross system, processing and preparing music coaches’ monthly salary records for HOD approval, and serving as the primary administrative contact for daily communications with parents and outside organizations.
Responsibilities
General
- Working hours: 7.30 am – 4.00 pm
Operations
- Scheduling of music lessons using Veracross – Review and revise the instrumental music schedule to ensure information is current.
- Maintain timetabling files to track lesson locations across campus and ensure monitors/parents can locate students easily
- Lesson rollover management: Process student continuation requests and enrollment changes at the start and end of seasons and during the add/drop window
- Oversee the daily deployment of Music Monitors to ensure EY2-Y4 students are safely escorted to and from lessons.
- Provide coverage for monitor duties during staff absences, breaks, or peak recital times
- Act as the first point of contact for monitors to resolve student attendance issues or scheduling issues.
- Order department resources as requested by the NIST Head of Music Academy, e.g. examination books, equipment, etc.
- Assist HOD in preparation for external music exams
- Manage the office ensuring supplies are present
- Help run the semester Recitals and other performance opportunities with bookings, design, and student management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Music Academy and support departments (A/V, IT, Housekeeping, and Security) to manage stage setups, livestreams, and crowd flow for all Music Academy events.
- Maintain an up-to-date log of all department equipment, including serial numbers, asset tags, and specific room locations.
- Manage relationships and schedule maintenance and repairs for specialized musical instruments and other audiovisual equipment, such as the regular tuning of pianos.
Systems
- Update Veracross and related IT systems to implement the daily operations of the Instrumental music scheduling.
- Collating student records from Veracross attendance register
- Preparing music coaches’ monthly salary records from Veracross attendance register for the NIST Head of Music Academy approval
- Calculate and apply billing adjustments for student invoices based on school calendar changes, such as conferences or approved coach absences.
- Manage the end-to-end invoicing process for instrument rentals, including issuing formal invoices to parents and tracking payment status
Communication
- Manage daily emails from parents and outside organizations and respond promptly and effectively
- Mass Communications: Draft, refine, and schedule large-scale communications via Veracross for events, welcome messages, and policy updates.
- Communicate instrumental teacher absence to parent, student and homeroom (Pre-planned)
- Check student absence and inform instrumental teacher
- Coordinate the bus schedule/ activities students with MONTRI transports for the “late” 3:45pm & 4:45pm dismissal.
- Liaise with all staff in case of any changes in arrangements to the normal daily program & advice parents, students, staff & MONTRI accordingly.
- Undertake professional responsibilities associated with the position.

Job Summary
A School Shop Officer is a retailer's role in the field of school uniform shops, to conduct sales professionally, a shop window/shelving display, and operate the store operation. This includes monitoring stocks, updating records. inventory Accuracy (physical stock take) and maintaining high professional standards in customer service.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Operations: Selling items in the school shop and operating the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
- Inventory Management: Counting and monitoring stock availability across all sizes for uniforms and other items to maintain sensible stock levels. Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and accurately label items with barcodes before organising them into storage.
- Stock Audits: Conduct monthly physical stock takes to ensure accuracy against POS records.
