Preparing

Welcome to NIST! Since 1992 thousands of students, teachers and parents have worked together to build a community that is now recognized as one of the best International Baccalaureate (IB) schools in the world. We know that you could have chosen to work at one of the many international schools in Thailand, and we sincerely appreciate that you believed we were the right choice for you.

Our connections to the United Nations and the IB helped drive our growth throughout the past three decades, and we’re proud of what NIST has accomplished over the years – not merely through test scores and university acceptances, but also the positive impact we have had in the lives of so many. We have not doubt that you will contribute to that legacy as well during your time in our community. At our core, we are a mission-driven school, and those few words drive all that we do.

NIST inspires growth, empowers individual excellence and enriches lives.

We hope that you share our passion for learning and look forward to having you join us. As you begin to plan for moving to Bangkok, this site will help guide you through the process, from preparing for your departure to settling in your new home. If you have questions or concerns along the way, please do not hesitate to contact us. Once again, welcome to NIST and thank you for choosing to be a part of our vibrant community!
