The Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for assisting the Director of HR & GA in the administrative process for the recruitment of non-teaching support staff (excluding management positions, temporary staff and Chelsea FC Soccer School Bangkok staff), including other relevant recruitment projects. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the duties indicated in the position description below.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment of non-teaching staff, temporary staff, and Chelsea FC Soccer School Bangkok staff
  • Select appropriate recruitment channels, develop job advertisements, arrange and conduct interviews by applying assessment tools for the interviews
  • Update NIST employment website in collaboration with the Communications Department
  • Check references and screening forms (in relation to child protection, hiring process, etc.)
  • Prepare and issue non-teaching staff employment contracts (i.e., support staff, temporary staff, Chelsea staff) contracts and other paperwork for new staff
  • Update support staff personal files and job descriptions, including organizational charts
  • Maintain and update HR database on Veracross
  • Facilitate non-teaching staff criminal checks and issuance of NIST badges
  • Prepare probationary appraisal forms for supervisors of staff who are nearing the end of their probationary periods
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports (turnover and recruitment status)
  • Assist in generating reports from Veracross (i.e. demographic reports and other related HR reports)
  • Assist in maintaining and entering key updates to ensure quality of staff database
  • Develop working relationships with universities to aid in recruitment
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by Director of HR & GA and HR Manager


  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Relevant experience of 3-5 years in Human Resources especially in Recruitment
  • Good command of verbal and written English
  • High level of proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and HR management software program
