What to Expect?
Over two days, dive into 40+ hands-on workshops built for the realities of trip leading and fieldwork: safety science, risk judgment in the field, inclusive practice for neurodivergent learners, and the pedagogy behind why experiential education works. Learn alongside 400+ educators from across the region, hear from master trainers who've spent decades in the field, and walk away with tools you can use on your very next trip.
Master Trainers & Facilitators
Rather than a single speaker, the conference is organized around 7 workshop strands, with 40+ sessions spread across them. Staff can choose sessions based on what's most relevant to their role:
- Experiential Design, Practice & Science - grounding facilitation in the science of learning to design intentional, research-informed experiences
- Wisdom of the Past - Indigenous experiential practices and land-based traditions
